Abstract

Solar power is the right energy source for long endurance, high altitude flyers, because it is not air demanding. Whereas solar power increases by about 50%, power demand increases similar until about 30,000 ft but progressively at higher altitudes.  This paper detailsfor these platforms requirements, actual projects and developments and future developments and projects.
