Development of the Microlift Glider

According to the FAI Sporting Code, a microlift glider has a maximum takeoff mass not exceeding 220 kg and a maximum wing loading not exceeding 18 kg/m2. These gliders are intended for utilizing weak atmospheric lift conditions, hardly usable for conventional sailplanes. This paper presents the development, use and future of these aricraft.Downloads
