Advantages and limitations of extruded structures in aircraft construction are discussed. Some solutions adopted for the M-300 sailplane are illustrated.. Procedures and results of static structural tests performed at the Politecnico di Torino are briefly reported. Considerations are made on the possible development of this structural concept.Downloads
