Abstract

This four-part paper is based on a study conducted by San Diego Aircraft Engineering Company for NASA, Mission Analysis Division, Ames Research Center. The series of papers presented here contains material of possible interest to sailplane designers and builders. Part IV is contained herein. The three preceding parts were published in successive issues of 'Technical Soaring' beginning with Vol. I, No. 4, April 1972.
