Abstract

The Motorsegler - in Gernany a well-known, accepted, and certificated catagory - has in dlfferent countries and organlzations several narnes such as powered, auxiliary powered, self launching, motorized, motor. The trouble is that in many cases the nane has to 'define' the motorsegler or has to include some of its limitations (e.g. self launchlng sailplane SLS). My first proposat: let us say all over the world 'motorsegler' or 'moto(r) soarer' (MS).
